Choose a link that:
- is short and easy to type;

- does not contain confusing numbers;

Use the counter to compare posts in a general way. Do not draw hard conclusions from a small difference. Look mainly at which topics get viewed more often over a longer period.

What problems do you often run into when creating one?
New Channel is not in the menu
Update the official Telegram app. Fully close the app and open it again. Then check the menu again. Otherwise, use Telegram Desktop to create the channel.
The public username is taken
Choose another recognizable name. If needed, add a clear word that fits your topic or location. Do not try to imitate another brand.
Contacts cannot be added
Check whether the person uses Telegram and whether your contact permissions are set correctly. Otherwise, share an invite link. The recipient can then decide for themselves whether to join.
Subscribers cannot reply

The link does not work

Changes are not visible right away
Close the channel and open it again. Also check on another device or with a second account. Sometimes it takes a short while before a changed photo, name, or description becomes visible everywhere.

Choose a group if members mainly need to talk to each other, ask questions, or work together. A group can have up to 200,000 members and offers replies, mentions, admin rights, and pinned messages.
